The Only Woman in America Who Doesn’t Patronize Victoria’s Secret

Yup, that’s me.  The Money Heifer typically walks by, not in, a Victoria’s Secret store.  The last time I shopped there for something for myself (let’s see – maybe five or six years ago – only because there was a really enticing sale).

But, I’m attending a bridal shower this weekend and the gift one should bring is best found at Victoria’s Secret.

Geesh, so many ladies in line.  It’s a Thursday evening, why aren’t these ladies hanging out at a club, a bar?

Since this is not a store I patronize, I was very focused – get what I need and go.  An employee was very helpful and I was able to select the best items for Saturday’s event.

One can easily spend lots of money in Victoria’s Secret.  And that’s just the clothes underneath.  (No wonder we Americans are in so much debt.  If you buy your “necessities” at Victoria’s Secret, then purchase your “outer clothing,”  buy your shoes, your pantyhose,  get your hair done, your nails done, your makeup – what about paying for rent, buying groceries, paying for utilities?) – [yes, The Money Heifer is  a party pooper!].

Victoria’s Secret – cute, pretty, sexy but broke  🙂

Now see, if you have an Angel card, you get free panties once a month. Free. No strings attached. Except you have to diligently walk in + not buy anything – just give them your coupon for the free ones. I will say VS can be expensive but some (not all) of their stuff is quality. I shop the sales, use my coupons, and try not to go broke. And who doesn’t love walking around in pretty pink underthings that match and make her feel like a girl, while crushing opposing counsel in court?!
